Literature Text

There you are!
I find you hurt, and feeling broken,
Because now, they're gone.
They'd misinterpret things you'd spoken.
The conflict's not your fault.
Biased people never listen.
It seems they waited
For a chance to leave you here.

People change.
(People change)
Nothing truly stays the same,
Some people walk away,
(Don't walk away.)
Just as sure as you'll grow older.
But, darling, don't give up!
(Don't give up.)
Even if you find yourself starting over.
Just try again,
(Try again)
And you know you'll get it right someday.
No matter how life alters us,
I'll always be here for you.

You'll move on,
But it'll seem like somethings missing,
Until you resolve
The pieces clouding up your mind.
And all that I can do
Is let you know that you're still wanted.
They weren't real friends
If small things made them leave you here.

People change.
(People change)
Nothing truly stays the same,
Some people walk away,
(Don't walk away.)
Just as sure as you'll grow older.
But, darling, don't give up!
(Don't give up.)
Even if you find yourself starting over.
Just try again,
(Try again)
And you know you'll get it right someday.
No matter how life alters us,
I'll always be here for you.

I'll always be here.
(Always be here.)
Darling, everyone's been there.
I'll always be here for you.
I just came up with this song, and I dedicate it not only to :iconsouljacol: but also to any, and everyone who has ever gone through the hardships of losing friendships, and those people who help them through. This is a very real topic, in my opinion, that most people go through at some point or another. I hope people can relate.

Another mention of the ambiguous "they" . . .

it's makes a wonderful song, depending who's singing and playing 'course...
for my experience, people don't really change,
some might try, but deep down they'll never change,
sometimes it's us that don't see them for what they'll really are,
or they leave because we know them too well
and they want to change but don't know how
