Why are there
So many love songs
Circling the world these days?
Music has probably
Always been this way.
People want love songs
Because people want love;
Because to hear those words
Makes one feel a little
Less lonely;
Because music and words
Convey the emotions
Into your heart.
When the feeling is deep,
It sinks into your soul,
And resonates your heart strings
Until your own conscious
Is flooded with happiness
And the bliss of innocence.

I was just thinking about how so much of my writing is romanticized. I was thinking about how there are so many love songs in the world, rivaled only by songs about lost love. And people like those because they're relateable.

Very true Kerry. if I am feeling heartbroken I will listen to heartbreaking songs rather than upbeat ones. Its like I want to know someone else feels the same way.
